From the crispy arancini to the flavorful shrimp tagliatelle, each dish showcased fresh flavors and expertly crafted combinations. One standout for me was the black truffle arancini, a dish that perfectly blended mushroom risotto, mozzarella, and truffle aioli. The burst of flavors in each bite left me craving more. Another favorite was the crispy sesame calamari with gochujang aioli, thai basil, and lime. The unique blend of Asian-inspired flavors added a delightful twist to this classic dish.

Perfect way to end my Chicago trip! My sister and I came here our last night in Chicago and it didn't disappoint! We made reservations for 7:30 and was immediately seated upon our arrival. Our server Oscar was excellent and made our dining experience even better. For our starters we ordered the arancini which was good, though I felt it could use a sauce of some sort. For my entree I ordered the brick pressed chicken which comes with baby spinach, smashed garlic potatoes and lemon chicken jus and my sis ordered steak and fries. My dish was delicious, my chicken was perfectly juicy and crispy, seasoning was on point and the lemon au jus was delectable. The mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach was really good too but the chicken was where it was at! My sister ordered a steak with chimichurri and fries and she was also very satisfied with her meal. Honestly the highlight of this meal was dessert. My current sweet obsession is sticky toffee pudding and when I saw this on the dessert menu, it was an automatic choice. This was the best sticky toffee pudding I've had found so far, it was extremely rich, buttery, sweet it was excellent. My sister who insisted on getting the s'mores in a jar dessert ended up eating more of my dessert than hers that's how good mine was. After our meal we went downstairs and took some pictures in their photo booth, which was such a cute touch! I would absolutely return to The Smith when visiting Chicago again.

I wish I could give the Smith 10 stars! From the excellent service to the absolutely delicious food, I was blown away! I wish I could remember our server's name, because she deserves recognition. She was friendly, happy to answer any questions, kept our water glasses full and was just on top of everything. Now for the food. My husband's grilled chicken sandwich was a flavor bomb! The aioli took it to a whole other level. After being "overserved" the night before, I chose wheat toast and chicken sausage to kind of keep it bland. Well let me tell you, neither the sausage or the toast was in any way bland. If you eat here, please get a side of the sausage!! It was the best breakfast sausage I've ever had. I also had a decaf cappuccino with almond milk. Chef's kiss! Y'all, this place was fantastic!

Food: 5/5 I ordered the Shrimp Tagliatelle, and it was a perfect blend of fresh flavors and textures. The pasta was cooked to perfection, tender yet firm, and the shrimp were plump and juicy. The sauce, infused with garlic and herbs, tied everything together beautifully, making each bite rich and satisfying. Service: 5/5 The service at The Smith was attentive and friendly. The staff ensured that we had everything we needed, including bread and water, offering helpful recommendations and making us feel welcome throughout the meal. Ambiance: 5/5 The atmosphere at The Smith was lively and stylish, with a modern yet cozy vibe. It was a great setting for both casual dining and special occasions, offering a comfortable space to enjoy a delicious meal. Price: 5/5 While The Smith is on the pricier side, the quality of the food and service made it well worth it. The Shrimp Tagliatelle was a standout dish, and we felt the overall dining experience justified the cost.

Once again, The Smith impressed me with its consistent excellence. We made a last-minute reservation for brunch and were pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they were. Our group of seven couldn't stop raving about each dish we tried. The brunch menu came with a complimentary cocktail, and the pool party was definitely a highlight. Kyle, our server, offered fantastic recommendations, and everything from the pancakes and omelette to the avocado toast and steak and eggs was absolutely delicious. To top it off, the manager stopped by to greet us, adding a personal touch to our experience. With its upscale casual vibe, Smith is the perfect spot to kick off a beautiful Saturday morning in downtown Chicago.

Very good service and ambiance! The waitress was very nice. Food was alright-- I got the salmon which was okay. The calamari was very good though! The shrimp tagliatelle that my friend got was quite good though! Fries were good too :)

Came in on a Friday night with a friend and we were both blown away by how delicious our food was! We sat inside because it was raining, but they have a nice sized patio area. I will say the drinks we had were mediocre, but the food was truly so good. The chimichurri sauce that was served on the side of my steak was one of the best I've had. I cannot wait to bring more people here!

Yummmmm. Outdoor seating, amazing mac and cheese, and the best shishito peppers I have ever had. They have oysters of the day and amazing service. 10/10.

Great people watching patio. I've only ever sat outside while I was here. My friend swears by the bolognese. Unfortunately, it's no longer in the menu! :( For dessert, try the s'mores in a jar. It's delicious. Imagine chocolate pudding, graham cracker crumbs, & marshmallows. Eat those calories! Totally worth it. Lastly, our water was great! Which is always a pleasure!

The Smith is a super cute spot for a pretty summer day because of their open indoor/outdoor concept. I can imagine it's also great for renting to big parties - there's an area downstairs that seems like a pretty cool little venue to rent out. The burger was very tasty and the fries almost taste like elevated McDonald's (lol). Special thanks to the burrata which was my fav item I tried. Cocktails were pretty sweet - Gatsby and Cosmo specifically. Overall wouldn't jump for a reservation but would go back.
